【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletothedevelopmentanduseofconfor-mancetestmethodspecificationsforPOSIXstandardsandmaybeapplicabletootherapplicationprogramminginterfacespecifications.ThisInternationalStan-dardisintendedfordevelopersandusersoftestmethodspecificationsandtestmethodimplementations.Theusersofthisstandardinclude—AssertionWriters:toformatassertions—AssertionTestWriters:towriteassertiontests—TestSuiteorSystemProcurers:tointerprettheresultsoftestsuitesThepurposeofthisstandardistodefinerequirementsandguidelinesfordevelop-ingassertionsandrelatedtestmethodsformeasuringconformanceofanimple-mentationundertest(IUT)toPOSIXstandards.TestmethodimplementationsmayincludeConformanceTestSoftware(CTS),POSIXConformanceTestPro-cedures(CTP),andauditsofConformanceDocuments(CD).Testingconformanceofanimplementationtoastandardincludestestingthecapabilitiesandbehavioroftheimplementationwithrespecttotheconformancerequirementsofthestandard.Testmethodsareintendedtoprovideareasonable,practicalassurancethattheimplementationconformstothestandard.Useofthesetestmethodswillnotguaranteeconformanceofanimplementationtothestandard;thatnormallywouldrequireexhaustivetesting(see7.2.1),whichisimpracticalforbothtechnicalandeconomicreasons.
