【摘要】:Thisstandardshallspecifyminimumrequirementsfortheselection,care,andmaintenanceofopen-circuitself-containedbreathingapparatus(SCBA)andcombinationSCBA/SARthatareusedforrespiratoryprotectionduringfirefighting,rescue,andotherhazardousoperations.ThisstandardshallspecifytherequirementsforSCBAmodelsasdetailedinSection1.3.ThisstandardshallspecifytherequirementsforSCBAthatareequippedwithSCBA-integratedPersonalAlertSafetySystems(PASS),alsocertifiedascompliantwithNFPA1982,StandardonPersonalAlertSafetySystems(PASS),asapplicable1.1.4ThisstandardshallspecifytherequirementsfortheSCBAselection,care,andmaintenancecomponentoftherespiratoryprotectionprogramrequiredbyNFPA1500,StandardonFireDepartmentOccupationalSafetyandHealthProgram.Thisstandardshallnotspecifyrequirementsforanyclosed-circuitSCBA.ThisstandardshallnotspecifyrequirementsforotherrespiratoryprotectionprogramcomponentsoftheorganizationsuchasSCBAtraining,appropriateuseofSCBAforoperations,andbreathingairqualityastheseprogramcomponentsareunderthejurisdictionofotherNFPAstandards.ThisstandardshallnotspecifyrequirementsforaccessoriesattachedtotheSCBAunlessspecificallyaddressedherein.Nothinghereinshallrestrictanyjurisdictionfromexceedingtheseminimumrequirements.
